Rosen Castle Nursery School and Activity Centre strives to treat your little star like royalty. Our classes are divided according to different age and language groups. By dividing the groups into smaller classes (maximum 25 pupils depending on the age), supervision and quality tuition are enhanced.

Our first priority is to let your little star feel safe, secure and happy. Only then do we introduce them to all our diverse and educational activities. Apart from our daily programme and activities based on theme work, we also offer a wide range of extramural activities.

Rosen Castle not only stimulates your children’s young minds, but also nurtures them socially and emotionally. We currently offer ten extramural activities (at extra cost):

  • Ballet
  • Karate
  • Playball
  • Future Kids Computers (Grade R pupils participate in this activity for free as it is included in their daily programme.)
  • Pottery
  • Speech and drama
  • Tannie Soetlief (handling emotions)
  • Kiddi Sportz
  • Music appreciation
  • Audi-Blox

Our royal helpers

Our staff comprises qualified morning teachers and carefully selected after-school carers to ensure that they are compassionate, responsible individuals with integrity who love children and have natural instincts when it comes to the needs of your young ones. Furthermore, every teacher has a full-time assistant and the baby section teachers have two assistants each. We also have a qualified nurse as head of the baby section, as well as speech, occupational and play therapists who visit us regularly.

Our office staff includes our principal (and fairy godmother), a secretary and a receptionist. The walls of the castle are protected by our very own security guard, Oom Koot, who is in charge of maintaining the safety and sanctuary of Rosen Castle. Oom Koot is on duty five days a week from 07:00 until 18:00.
